Meet Dr. Zohn
Dr. Ira J. Zohn received his D.M.D with honors and awards from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and his Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies in Endodontics from Boston University School of Dental Medicine. He is been a Fellow of the International College of Dentists since 1980.
Dr. Zohn is the Director of the Endodontics in the Dental Department at Jersey Shore Medical Center. He has taught and lectured on Endodontic technique at various study clubs, the Annual meetings of the New Jersey Dental Association, and the Monmouth-Ocean County Dental Society. He also has been a guest lecturer in the Endodontic Department at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey.
New Jersey Monthly Magazine has selected him, according to a survey by his peers, to be one of the Top 10 Endodontists in New Jersey for the last three consecutive years. Dr. Zohn started practicing Endodontics in 1971. He has a deep passion for the field of Endodontics and his practice.
Dr. Zohn is a member of the American Association of Endodontists, the Tri-State Endodontic Society, the American Dental Society, Monmouth-Ocean Dental Society and the Massachusetts Dental Society. Dr. Zohn has also been an alternate Trustee of the Monmouth-Ocean County Dental Society.
Dr. Zohn is married and has 4 children. He has varied interests, which include computer technology, skiing, cycling, weight lifting and aerobic exercise. He also enjoys playing piano and all genres of music.
