Dr. Christopher A. Pellicano received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Stony Brook University and his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the Stony Brook University School of Dental Medicine. During dental school, Dr. Pellicano received the New York State Association of Endodontists Student Achievement Award.
Following dental school, Dr. Pellicano completed his General Practice Residency at the Northport VA Medical Center.
Dr. Pellicano continued his postgraduate training at Rutgers University, where he earned his specialty certificate in Endodontics. During his endodontic residency, he received advanced training in both surgical and nonsurgical endodontic techniques, including extensive use of the surgical operating microscope and Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) in the diagnosis and treatment of complex endodontic cases. His research focused on radiation exposure associated with CBCT imaging and its dosage in comparison with common sources of everyday radiation.
His professional affiliations include the American Association of Endodontists, American Dental Association, New York State Dental Association, and New Jersey Association of Endodontists.
A New Jersey native, Dr. Pellicano grew up in Manalapan. Endodontics runs in the family: Dr. Pellicano’s wife, mother-in-law, and brother are also endodontists, each practicing independently at their respective locations. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Pellicano enjoys cycling, fitness, traveling with his wife Jenn, cooking, and maintaining saltwater aquariums.
