I went to Dr. Ostrometskaya for a root canal on a back molar. I had used her in the past and I was very pleased with her work. However, this time she hesitated to perform my root canal and kept telling me that I did not have enough tooth structure to make it worth it. This was very upsetting as I really wanted to save the tooth. I went back to my dentist to consult with him. He advised me that the tooth definitely had enough root structure and he would also be able to build up the tooth to save it. Long story short, it is four years later and I still have the tooth. Although Dr. O eventually performed the root canal successfully, the entire experience was upsetting. I do not plan to return to her again for any treatment.

I could not have had a better experience! I went in for a consult because my dentist thought I might need a root canal. They confirmed that I did need the procedure but were able to do it right then. I expressed that I was nervous because I have a really low pain tolerance, but the doctor was very reassuring and the procedure was completely painless!

Unfortunately a major disappointment. Received a re-treatment for a bad root canal and the pain never fully went away. After being informed by my dentist of the reality of a cracked root - I was referred back to this location to have a tooth extraction recommended. I was told I would have to return for another expensive scan and a consultation. To top that off they no longer accept my insurance. It seems to me that $ comes first with this practice and the care for a patient in pain comes last. I will not be returning to this practice. Please find better ways to accommodate your patients and avoid over charging them for unnecessary consultations.

Was recommended to come to this practice for a root canal. I am usually very anxious going to the dentist but this entire experience was great. When I made the appt, that was easy, the hygienist's were great - made me feel very comfortable and Dr. Ira Zohn was amazing … informative and funny and did a great job.

I could not be more enthusiastic about providing feedback on my experience with Advanced Endodontic Associates. I had a root canal procedure done. Dr. Pellicano was the absolute best. Before the procedure, he showed me the cavity and the nerve on an x-ray. He patiently explained what needed to be done and why. He helped me relax by assuring me that I would experience no pain while he performed the root canal procedure. Dr. Pellicano's assistant, Donna, was kind, warm, and quite professional as she assisted with this procedure. If a root canal procedure can be done pleasantly, it could not be better done than by Dr. Pellicano and his assistant, Donna.

Recently my wife broke a front tooth at the gum line. Unfortunately, her dentist was not able to help. But with one call to Advanced Endo, Doreen Scott, the Office Manager, was able to get her an appointment with Dr. Apolito in the Middletown office the very same day. Disappointing experience with a consultation for an extraction. I brought a digital xray from another endo, per this office's request. Upon my consultation, they claimed their system could not open the xray - they never told me in advance that their ability to open another xray could be limited and that I would have to be prepared to have their office take their own CT xray costing $300. In addition they made no effort to contact the previous endo to obtain the xray in a format that would be readable by Adv Endo. I feel they were more interested in increasing the cost of my visit then they were in getting the information needed to make an informed decision without unnecessary costs. My visit for consultation of a simple molar extraction was $515. The molar according to Dr Apolito was loose already- in my opinion Dr Apolito could have looked at the tooth first, determined it to be loose and needing extraction BEFORE taking the CT Xray which would never have been needed once the tooth was determined to be loose. The dds who referred me here said this was "outrageous" and lazy on Adv Endo part. Adv Endo has not responded to my letter to them dated Oct 25, 2023 to address my complaints. Poor service and price gouging all around. Do your homework and learn from my experience. Added in response to Dr,s response: Dr Apolito, Your response to my review is inaccurate. I was told that your computer could not read my CT scan because your IT protocol was to prevent other computer programs from being read. My CT was not defective nor was I ever told it was. As such, I should never have been encouraged to bring my scans. Your response to my review is incomplete and does not address ignoring my letter to your office. Most businesses have to swallow their anger in order to make things right with a patient/customer - you have not mastered this principle. Very unfortunate.

about a decade ago i had a “deep cavity” done by my dental hygienist. i had alot of complications with the tooth for years after. at first it was severe pain like i never felt before. after a while the pain went away and i would randomly get an abscess on the gum and it was not a good time. due to insurance reasons and overall just not liking having dental work done i ignored it. finally years later im going back to getting cleanings done on my teeth and x rays showed bone loss in the jaw and damage to the tooth under the gum. i still put it off. finally one day it got infected again and i was in severe pain again. i was referred here by my new dental hygienist. my options were do the root canal and see if it heals or pull the tooth. i went with the root canal after Dr.Zohn said if i were his son hed try to save the tooth. Dr. Zohn worked his magic in a quick and painless procedure. i had to wait 4 months to see if it would heal well enough to get a post and crown. i was confident going into that checkup considering the tooth felt great and i was able to eat fine on that side finally. the tooth and bone loss healed great and i can now finish the procedure. im thankful for Dr.Zohn saving my tooth.

He educated me on how it was done and made me feel better about continuing with the process. AMAZING experience! I was in such extreme pain and needed a Root Canal asap, Dr. Zohn was so understanding and caring. He told me he would relieve my pain and it wouldn't hurt at all. He was so right! I didn't feel a thing! He explained everything he was doing and made me feel so safe. Dr. Zohn is incredible along with his Assistant and office staff, I've been telling everyone about him and the office. BEST DENTIST EVER!!

Called twice to make an appointment, especially that I’m in a lot of pain….They needed to verify my insurance and never got back to me.. I called again days later.. Same thing happened!! They were recommended to me but unfortunately I have to move on.. Feel bad about it and disappointed

Our 11-year old daughter's dentist indicated that she needed to have emergency tooth extraction to avoid potentially serious complications. Our daughter has been in a lot of pain since the issue started and even painkillers do not help very much. Advanced Endodontic Associates in Freehold was one of the specialists that the dentist recommended. Perhaps the doctors at this place are great (that we did not get the opportunity to experience), but the person answering the phones was extremely rude, obnoxious, not at all compassionate and really deserves to be fired immediately. When my wife called to schedule the emergency appointment and explained the situation, she was offered a date a month out by the woman who answered the phone. She tried asking for an earlier appointment given the pain that our child is in and her dentist's instructions to have this done ASAP on an emergency basis. However, the woman who answered the phone got very rude and nasty, said she did not care how much pain our child is in nor that her dentist said this has to be addressed right away and indicated that "we cannot try to control the availability of the appointments at their office". Imagine that! This woman deserves to be fired immediately and does not deserve to have any job, let alone one at a medical or healthcare provider of any kind. Truly absurd experience. RESPONSE - We called the right office and the above is an accurate description of the conversation.

Overall I had a great experience.. the young lady who assist Dr Rubio?? was amazing!! And the awesome staff that checked on when I was balling my eyes out in the lobby!! I’m sorry I can’t remember your name! I’m confused on the 3D /360 scan that was almost 300$ .. why and where’s my copy of my scan!!?? Felt a bit scammish!! my crown was removed from the cracked tooth .. told to follow up my dentist smh!! then I was sent on my way !!! I ENDED up in the ER!! With a life threatening Abscess!! MAKES NO SENSE!
